Charlie "Jewel" von Jessen is a beautiful 5-6 year old German Shepherd with a true golden heart.  She is a great walker on leash; she listens to commands and knows not to pull. She enjoys being admired by other pedestrians from afar but is shy with those she doesn't know.  She also likes watching other pups play from the sidelines but, in her ladylike fashion, doesn’t have much interest in getting her paws dirty (and no small dogs, please). This girl is housebroken, has a mild energy level and is so well-mannered that we're told she can be trusted to be alone inside or outside of the house. She knows very well not to talk to strangers and appreciates being given the time to meet and bond with new people. Charlie will do best in a calm home where she can build her confidence. She is well-behaved and low maintenance - a perfect companion dog.
